They deliver results using complex methodologies, adhering to strict quality controls, and ensuring fast turnaround times.

Within the ALERTOX-NET project, CEFAS is actively involved in various capacities:

  1. Information Exchange Network: CEFAS contributes to setting up an information exchange network, facilitating the seamless sharing of crucial data and insights among project partners and stakeholders.
  2. Toxicity Alert System: CEFAS participates in the development of an easy-to-use toxicity alert system, leveraging their expertise to contribute to the system’s functionality and user-friendliness.
  3. Industrial Pilot: CEFAS plays a key role in the industrial pilot of the toxicity alert system. Their involvement includes testing and validating the system in real-world conditions, ensuring its effectiveness and practical applicability.

Through their multifaceted involvement, CEFAS significantly contributes to the project’s overarching goal of enhancing marine toxicity detection and ensuring the safety of seafood products, aligning with regulatory standards and industry needs.
