Commisariat à l’Énergie Atomique (CEA), France.
The Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique (CEA) possesses extensive expertise in the study of marine peptide neurotoxins. Their focus spans the purification, sequencing, synthesis, in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo pharmacological characterization of these toxins. Additionally, CEA engages in molecular bioengineering to modify their functional properties, aiming for novel pharmacological applications.
Within the ALERTOX-NET project, CEA collaborates on the configuration of the toxicity detection «alert» system, taking into account environmental factors in France. Their involvement extends to establishing crucial links with industries, contributing to the validation and piloting of the alert system in the country. Through their specialized knowledge and capabilities, CEA significantly enhances the project’s capacity to address marine toxicity concerns and implement effective alert systems tailored to the French context.
