Atlantic Area

The primary goal of the Interreg Atlantic Area program (https://www.atlanticarea.eu/) is to enhance integrated territorial development and cooperation within the regions bordering the Atlantic Ocean in Western Europe. Encompassing areas in the western United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal, and the northern and southwestern parts of Spain and western France, the Atlantic Area program seeks to strengthen collaboration across this expansive region. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) provides a significant co-financing contribution of 140,013,194 euros, contributing to the overall program budget of 185,366,492 euros.
